JR Heli Division

Get To Know "JR Heli Division"

FLY WITH THE BEST….. FLY JR!!!

JR REMOTE CONTROL CO., LTD. caught the attention of remote control lovers all over the world as they have grown to an enterprise that is rightfully proud of its advanced technology.

When the JR Helicopter Division was founded in Matsusaka, Japan on January, 1995, it expected to be synonymous with state-of-the-art, high quality radio control systems known the world over for their exceptional reliability and engineering.

For years, it has steadily gained a high level of trust throughout the radio control hobby industry not only in Japan but internationally as well.  To this day, JR’s Heli Division is world renowned for manufacturing world class, high-performance Helicopter Kits, Accessories, Spares and Upgrades.

For historical background information, below are well-known JR helicopters that conquered the radio controlled world over the last ten (10) years from 1995 to 2005:

The Voyager E was one of the most functional ELECTRIC HELICOPTER before the advent of Lipoly batteries and brushless motors.  The original Voyager E, with its brushed motor powered by NiCad batteries was among the most stable heli in the industry.

From this humble beginning, it evolved into 3 Cell Lipo Use with 120 Degree CCPM Control, to Voyager E Brushless Motor plus Speed Controller, then JR the Super Voyager E 4S.

Now, for the latest development and they re-named it to Vibe 500E, wherein this new version offers even greater levels of 3D performance.

The Vibe 500E was conceived with one goal in mind - being the smoothest, most precise electric helicopter available.  Features like the belt-driven tail, aluminum head and tail assemblies plus more, make precision and smoothness a possible reality.

VENTURE 50

The almost-ready-to-fly JR Venture 50 3D ARF combines .50-size power with the simplicity of the original Venture CP’s pre-assembled frame and CCPM flight control.

Model Airplane News reviewer Rick Bell described the Venture 50 3D ARF’s aerobatic prowess as UNMATCHED!!! Rick summed it like this:  “Whether you’re a novice, an intermediate or expert pilot, the Venture 50 3D ARF gives you a lot of bang for your buck”!

VIGOR CS

Then the original VIGOR helicopter was released by world renowned heli flyer Curtis Youngblood, in conjunction with JR. From the time that the original Vigor design was finalized until the time that it was actually manufactured and available, Curtis continued experimenting with changes to the basic Vigor design.

JR’s latest version of the Vigor is what Curtis is now flying and is the culmination of all of his tweaking and experimentation on the stock Vigor - The Vigor CS CCPM. Meanwhile, the JR Vibe 90 is based on the popular Vigor CS, and features many parts that have been redesigned and upgraded to handle the incredible loads of today’s 3D flying styles.

Vibe 90 3D

With the success of Vigor & Vibe came JR’s Vibe 50 - designed to provide outrageous 3D flight, but in a smaller and more affordable package.

Vibe 90 SG

With already a great design by Curtis Youngblood, a team mate of Curtis in the JR team, who is also one of the greatest heli flyers in the world named Scott Gray further improved on the Vibe concept and developed it into a production kit by JR Heli Division, the mechanics have been optimized to give maximum strength, rigidity and power transfer.  JR Vibe 90 SG combines extreme 3D capability with the best in design, function and precision.

Sylphide 90

To top it all, the Sylphide 90 is the flagship model in the JR helicopter range, which evolved from the F3C model Superio.

The Sylphide 90 is known to be the “FAIRY OF THE WIND” and will manage the wind at your will and bring you great victory.

The high grade carbon parts, like the Main Frame, tail boom, and tail brace tube are equipped for increased rigidity and lighter weight.  It also features JR CCPM control for direct powerful controls.

To prove this point, over the last three F3C WCs which is held once every 2 years, the results speaks for itself.
